My only real "complaint" is your subsequent play throughs the board quests can get annoying. Especially since I'm the type of person that likes to complete ALL the quests.
-larger than life enemies
-vast freedom to choose how you play
-no effective fast-travel system
Little of both:
-Pawn system is interesting but flawed
-Failure to plan before fights will kill you
-Enemies levels are set from the start. Some will like this, but it does make the early stages of the game VERY hard.
Fantastic combat encounters against awesome monsters
One of the best boss fights in any role-playing game, ever
There is always a surprise around the corner Atmospheric touches that make the world feel authentic
A series of striking choices leads to an unforgettable ending.
Tedious backtracking through familiar territory
Exasperating pawn behavior
Bizarre quest-related and story events.
