Dr. Loretta Tightening Eye Gel - 20 ml

I got this Full size Allure Best of Beauty Eye Gel in my Beautyfix by Dermstore. I’ve never heard of Dr. Loretta but I’m glad I got this product and now know about the amazing skin care products the line has. The Eye Gel is made to tighten the eye contour and fade dark circles. It’s a thick gel like texture that can get a little sticky, so I like to put some of my moisturizer over it. I can definitely see my under eye area becoming brighter. This company created a technology called Chromabright which fades uneven pigment and protects the skin from free radical damage caused by UVA and HEV (blue light from cell phones) light. It also protects against Pollution, Climate, Irritants and UV Radiation. This eye gel protects your skin with highly concentrated medical grade ingredients to make sure your under eyes are healthy and youthful.

I really like this eye gel very much. It's a non tacky/greasy gel formula that truly absorbs well into the delicate under eye region. Gives an instant lift too. This is a nice eye cream. It’s very light almost watery but Still moisturizing and tightening. A little goes a long way and this will last a long time. I saw some improvements in my fine lines

This is one of my favorite eye gels for daytime wear. It feels refreshing and light. It also goes well under makeup which is always one something I look for in a product. I don't have lines or many wrinkles and I think this product has helped with that.

This is a great tightening eye gel. Worked well to decrease puffiness. Took one star off because I wanted more hydration.

So, I bought this cheap, I think $15 from scentbird, thank goodness. From scentbird, for that price, yes good value, but the regular retail price, no do not try this. I don’t know how it’s an allure 2019 best of beauty winner. It’s a tightening eye gel, and it’s supposed to reduce puffiness, dark circles and fine lines... it did none of that for me. I have had different eye creams/gels that I felt gave me that immediate tightening and better appearance (though that is definitely a short term solution). This doesn’t say or have any studies that say like, “98% of women saw in improvement in fine lines and dark circles after 6 weeks of use” (as in example) so I would ASSUME that this is supposed to be immediate.... but I could be wrong, and if I am, I will definitely look more into it, try it longer, and update the review. Right now though, the best part of this eye gel is that it is lightweight and not heavy, it’s not going to leave you greasy like heavy eye creams do, and it is SUPPOSED to protect your skin from free radicals, UVA, HEV light and also guard against free radical damage caused by pollution and UV radiation... I like those claims but I guess time will tell.

I received this in my BeautyFix box this month and I am very excited about it. This product is definitely a splurge at $60 but in the few weeks I’ve used it, I have experienced the skin around my eyes becomes smoother. I can’t necessarily say my skin is tighter but it looks healthy and a bit more plump. I will continue using this and report back
