I have three children; my older two are ages 8 and 7. I used another bottle brand with the older ones and they worked great. So when I found out I was pregnant with my third child about a year ago and had to start all over with baby items, that brand was the one I naturally turned to since it worked so well for me in the past. So I was prepped with that brand and my cousin, who had a ton of Dr. Brown's bottles since she had twins had sent me all of her extras. They sat in a bag.

My youngest son was born in August and I used the other brand of bottles. But he fussed so much. Part of it was a formula issue, which wasn't surprising since my other children needed to be switched to a sensitive formula during their baby days as well. But still, the gassiness persisted and he would screech and cry for hours sometimes, just completely wearing himself out. On a whim, we decided to try one of the Dr. Brown's bottles....and could not believe the night and day difference. They have worked SO well in combination with the sensitive formula to handle his gassiness. He's such a happy baby and it makes me happy to know how I was able to help him.

Yes, there are a lot of parts that can be tedious to clean. And they really need to be cleaned after every use...and soon after use. Let them sit for a while and the smell of old formula or breastmilk will seep in and stay, and the bottles themselves may turn a yellowish tint. So it's something you really need to stay on top of. Even so, I can't complain about it. Even with all its little parts and nooks and crannies you really need to get into, I can't knock off even a star for something that really helped my baby be able to eat without experiencing painful gas.

What a life saver!! My little one had colic and we had tried everything. I finally heard about Dr.Browns bottles and said why not try it.   They really made a huge difference in his feedings and the air problems vanished.  I highly recommend these bottle to all parents.  Now he is using the Dr. Brown sippy cup and it is fantastic with the soft spout instead of the hard plastic and two grips on each side is training him to hold his own cup.

I used these bottles with all three of my babies ranging from 2007-2014. I switched to these bottles after my first born developed gas issues and I never looked back. He almost instantly found relief from his gas issues and I refused to use anything else after that. My only complaint would be the cleaning of them, the special inner pieces were a pain to clean in the middle of the night. Just make sure you have clean bottles ready for night feedings and you will be golden! I highly recommend them! They also have different nipple sizes, so just be aware that you can move up as baby gets older :)

The bottles provided a slight challenge for us at first, but after a few attempts my son took them with ease. The flow is just right and he seems to really like them even if my husband has to be a little creative during feedings (sometimes he has to hold the bottle up to his chest for my son to take it). He has not had any more gas or spit up than normal (as compared to breastfeeding), which has been awesome for all of us. Others have reported some difficulty cleaning it, but I have no complaints. We use the Dr. Brown bottle brush and the pipe cleaner that came with them and have had no problems!

My son is 6 months old and Dr.Browns are the best ever! At first when we brought him home, we used strictly Medela bottles. We decided to switch over when he turned 1 month. We picked up Dr. browns and must admit they’re a life saver! I do recommend them to all of my friends! Every baby shower I go to, I always HAVE to make sure I grab a pack of Dr. Browns included with baby shower gifts! It’s a little too much cleaning up...but these bottles do the job!

I have been using Dr. Brown's bottles for almost 3 years. I started with them 3 years ago with my son, when he was having issues with spitting up really bad. These bottles were a GODSEND.  As soon as I switched to these bottles his spitting up got so much better. I will never use any other kind of bottle. I do have to say though, if you are going to get Dr. Brown's don't get the "options" ones. Even though they come is cute colors, they leak really bad. I have had nothing but issues with them. Go for the "old school" ones.

I never brought these kind of bottles for my kids. But one of my friends did and she told me that she loves them. It helps where they not sucking on air. It suppose to help where the babies not threwing up as much. I never known about these bottles until my friends told me. But by then my kids was out of bottles. But now that I know when I do have another baby these be the bottles that I buy. They help with her kids where they didn't threw up as much and they wasn't sucking on air.

My toddler never had reflux issues but my 2017 baby does. So we use these bottles with him to prevent spit up, and gas buildup.

I had a friend gift me a set from target and even special occasion ones. I never understood what the big deal was about these bottles but now I have come to appreciate them.

I think they have craved out a niche for themselves and mommas with reflux and gassy babies should definitely give these a try.

I had so many issues with the dr. Browns bottles leaky. For the terrible quality that they were they were priced way too high. We switched to Philips Avent after using these for several months. I Exclusively pump and anytime I had to warm my babies milk in one of these bottles it would leak out every. And the bottle caps served no purpose because the bottles would leak out of the cap if they fell over. Hated them so much.

I have used Dr Browns bottles for all three of my babies! Tried other bottles and they refused them. Only room for improvement is to have a better way to clean the parts since no matter how hard I try sometimes old milk stays in them and they have a yellowish film. Definitely not a deal breaker though as all three of my children have loved Dr. Browns. Also have the Dr Browns formula mixer which is a LIFESAVER!
