Die Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup ist eine der bekanntesten Foundations für ein langanhaltendes, makelloses Finish. Sie bietet eine mittlere bis hohe Deckkraft, die sich gut aufbauen lässt, ohne maskenhaft zu wirken. Besonders positiv fällt die Haltbarkeit auf – selbst bei langen Tagen oder warmem Wetter bleibt das Make-up stabil und verrutscht kaum. Die Textur ist eher flüssig, lässt sich aber gleichmäßig verteilen und trocknet relativ schnell. Dadurch sollte man zügig arbeiten. Für ölige und Mischhaut ist sie ideal, da sie ein mattes Finish hinterlässt und Glanz reduziert. Bei trockener Haut empfiehlt sich eine gute Feuchtigkeitspflege darunter, da sie sonst leicht austrocknend wirken kann. Ein kleiner Nachteil ist, dass kein Pumpspender enthalten ist, was die Dosierung etwas unpraktisch macht. Insgesamt ist es jedoch eine zuverlässige Foundation für alle, die ein langanhaltendes und professionelles Ergebnis suchen.

I was looking forward trying this new formula foundation and to be honest I am extremely disappointed: 1. Change of the shade. It’s totaly different to old version. 2. Consistently more runny and dries too fast which means that you have to work fast with application. Not easy to build, again, the same reason as dries too quick. 3. My skin felt very dry after couple hours. Uncomfortable feeling. Unfortunately, it’s not for me. I couldn’t wait to remove it after 3hrs so can’t say if it stays in place for 36hr. To be honest I don’t think someone would be willing to wear make up for this long…

The longevity of this makeup is amazing! This makeup doesn’t oxidize and change color like many others. I could wear this from early in the morning to the night time and it looks the same as when I put it on. It is lightweight and doesn’t feel like a mask.
