I have not been a huge fan of Dollar Tree until recently. I went looking for some storage containers for my home as well as some learning aids for my little one and my opinions have changed. I found some great learning books that she is going to love and get a jumpstart to Kindergarten. I also found some super cute things for the home. I definitely think it is a good place of you need stuff and do not want to pay a fortune. My Dollar Tree is also doing a food drive for our community and every cashier asks if each customer would like to donate a food item for a dollar of course. My heart was melted. Such a great thing they are doing to help those in need.
The Dollar Tree is my favorite store ever! I shop there SO often and it saves me so so much money! They have GREAT gift bags and tissue paper, awesome kid's party favors and decorations, cards, organizational things, home decor, craft supplies, candles, etc. I LOVE their kitchen section as well. Good quality plates, cups, spatulas, etc. I LOVE their seasonal decor as well! I work at an elementary school and we are often expected to buy our own supplies and things that we need and Dollar Tree is a savior for that purpose as well, from batteries and tiny screw drivers for our timers to treats and prizes for our students. Couldn't live without this store!
I just love Dollar Tree! Whether I'm looking for affordable groceries or gift bags and cards, they are the affordable alternative to mainstream shopping. But, for back to school, you can't beat therm! They have all the basics at affordable prices. Pens, pencils, calculators, staplers, report binders, snacks for lunches, project display boards - even socks, lunch boxes, sandwich bags and drink bottles. You CAN afford to get your child ready for school with Dollar Tree! I took the photo right side up, but it refused to cooperate here, but it is the label from a project board I bought to use as a photo backdrop.
Shopping at the dollar tree can be a hit or miss. &lets be honest here its usually a hit because everythings one dollar. If you go through aisle by aisle youre destined to find some pretty neat stuff. You can sometimes find some name brand, higher end items here. But when you do i suggest buying them on the spot. They wont always have these things in stock so take advantage while you can. Ive bought dvds, books, physicians formula make up, yankee candles, and other great finds here. I visit my local dollar tree maybe once a week, or every other week to make sure i dont miss out on something cool.
I really love the dollar store, you can find anything there. The only thing I don't like is that a lot of times they have many blank shelves or don't stock items that they carry permanently. I still love it a lot of times I find nice cosmetics that would normally cost $5-10 for only a dollar. Great place for party supplies, Tupperware, house ware, candy but I wouldn't recommend buying the lotions, shampoos or conditioners. Often they seem watered down or poor quality. I enjoy that they carry a lot of name brands as well.!
This is one of the smaller stores I've been to (no frozen food/ large grocery isle). This store focuses more on house hold/party/seasonal items. They are limited in their stationery/arts & crafts/beauty department. However, they always have the hard to find items -- you just need to be there at the right time. They stock-up towards the middle of the week, so I recommend going towards the end of your week for fully stocked & organized shelves. I also find that customer service is better at night.
Everything costs $1! No gimmick! I shop at Dollar Tree for items that I don't mind buying for cheap, candy (name brand), pens, candles, and even name brand household cleaners (Lysol, Ajax, Dawn, etc). I've bought mugs and hand towels here, if money is tight and I want to redecorate my place. Only thing about buying dishes from Dollar Tree: they are usually not microwaveable and sometimes not dishwashable! But, because they are so pretty and cheap, I don't mind hand washing them!
I love this store! I can get just about anything I need but I stay away from their own brand products, most of them aren't even worth a dollar but this is a true dollar store, everything is a dollar and sometimes less. I get name brand stuff in here from time to time and I love the cute holiday decorations and don't get me started on the Christmas name tag stickers! If you think "pfft they won't have anything that's worth the money", take a look I bet you'll find something.
I love this place I go here all the time. They have some really great things. They have things here (like toothpaste, shampoo, and snacks) that you could spend $3 plus on at Walmart or any other store. I love going there and looking at their makeup, nail polish, snacks, and shampoo. They are also really good to run in really fast for gift bags, tissue paper, balloons, cleaning things, containers, and even pet treats/toys. They have almost anything you could ask for.
The best thing about the dollar tree, is that not onlt is it affordable, it's a one stop, shop for anything you may need! It's always convenient to go to a single place and grab everything you need, rather than going crazy, driving around , trying to get errands done! There's two by my home and I live in a city, where most stores are in the subards, so I'm grateful for the dollar tree! It's summertimw, having a party, here's your spot! #backyardbash
