This was a time where it was overall unknown how bad the pandemic was, and was going to be. These definitely helped me out because I used them to clean common areas and my spaces to prevent cross contamination and infection from surfaces (which are called fomites in microbiological terminology). I still use these today. I think they are great for cleaning surfaces of tables, doorknobs, and floors. The cons is that they will dry out if the lid isn't properly closed. The remedy for this is quite easy and doesn't necessitate taking off a star. Just add water and they will be fine. ✨The Science✨ The great thing about these wipes is that they are rated based on empirical research to kill many different types of pathogens (harmful microbes), including bacteria and viruses. They aren't just for the purpose of killing tuberculosis. The label says they will kill bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and viruses such as HIV and Herpes Simplex Virus. The active ingredient in these wipes is 0.5% Hydrogen Peroxide. ✨ Precautions ✨ These will dry out your skin if you use your bare hands. I recommend using gloves. If you don't have gloves, ensure to wash your hands right after. Hand cream will help!
