So this thing sounds super awesome, and I want to try it, but I guess I don't see how this thing wouldn't be full of bacteria and cause an infection. Does anyone have this problem? I know you can empty it when its full, or every couple hours,

To keep the diva cup clean and bacteria free, you have to wash it frequently. I use Summer's Eve Cleansing Wash for Sensitive Skin every time I take it out before re-inserting it. There is also a wash made specifically for the cup by the diva brand. Remember to only wash the cup with something that is safe to put inside your vagina. Find a mild soap that is unscented, water based, and oil free. Also you can boil the diva cup for 10 minutes to kill any remaining bacteria. I've been using the cup for about 6 months now and have had no problems with bacteria. Just make sure you wash it frequently and boil it when needed.
