Absolutely amazing cruise line! My husband can’t stand Disney world but was completely won over by the cruises. The ships are beautiful and so clean, I love the retro deco styling. Love the onboard movie theater too, and the lack of a casino or binge drinking crowd. Food is great even in the main dining rooms, and we love the rotational dining. Palo and Remy are just out of this world fantastic, you can leave the kid(s) in the kids club, which my son loves, and enjoy an adult evening. Kids 8 and over can check themselves in and out of the clubs and you get a text on your portable room phone telling you when they leave. Rooms are well designed with space under the bed for suitcases, and the double bathroom is so convenient. Linens and beds are heavenly. As with all things Disney, customer service is top notch. Easy to change things you don’t like, such as dining assignments. Castaway Cay is the best cruise line private island I’ve been to as well. Very well laid out with separate areas for different activities and interests, great lagoon snorkeling. Parasailing there was amazing. We keep coming back year after year and we even picked it for an adult only cruise. Itineraries are fantastic.Disney Cruise Line
For the cost of this cruise I will say I was disappointed. There was not much to do for adults past 11, the adult only area had children. Parents at the bar with their child sitting right next to them..... I was also disappointed with their sit down dinner. It was very bland. I will say carnival has a better sit down dinner. Also they need to do more characters out at a time, it was always a long line! Now the pros! The buffet on Disney way AMAZING!! The entertainment was a great also and the staff! I honestly have no words for them. They remembered the kids names, and even any special request we made for them. The kids had an amazing time! I probably would not repeat for the cost
Disney cruises are unlike any other cruise line. The cast members (staff) on board cater to your every need. One of the more personal touches Disney provides on their cruises is the same waiters/waitresses each night. It’s truly unique and you begin to mold relationships with them, they genuinely want to know if you’re enjoying your cruise, how your day went, future plans for the remainder of the cruise etc. Disney also owns their own private island, Castaway Cay. This remote and exclusive island provides a luxurious island feel without all the tourists and street “vendors” trying to sell you water for $5. Disney ensures a plethora of activities are made available to guests both on board and on the island. A truly amazing experience, I will only cruise with DCL and no one else. If you have small children obsessed with Disney, do your entire family a favor and book a trip. This company is extremely family friendly and has plenty of adult amenities provided as well. Life-changing experience and I highly, highly recommend. Will always love Disney!!!
We sail Disney every Halloween for their Not So Scary Halloween voyages. What can I say? It's Disney. Every little detail is perfection. The cast members treat you like family. The ships have so much magic for the whole family to do together you're making lasting memories the entire trip instead of wondering what there is to do together. Their private island is literally paradise. If you can only go on one cruise ever in your life and you even KIND OF like Disney... Do it.
Our Disney Cruise was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken. We cruised last August to the Bahamas and to Disney’s private island Castaway Cay. The food was excellent and customer service is outstanding. There were so many little details that made it such a special vacation. Highly recommend doing a tour of the ship. They give great details about how the ship was designed and why and they point out lots of special details a lot of passengers don’t know about.
I have gone on 2 Disney cruises, once as a 10 year old and one as a 29 year old. Both times were amazing. As a kid I loved the activities and freedom to be away from my parents. As an adult we went on the maiden voyage of the Star Wars Cruise and now my husband refers to amounts of money by how many Disney Cruises it would be. We are counting the days until we can go back. The food, facilities, shows, and activities are unparalleled. You are getting a luxury cruise and it’s worth every penny.
Disney just “gets it”! They’ve done a spectacular job of creating a family friendly oasis on the sea. The cruise has something for everyone in the family to enjoy...from amazing fun and activities for the little ones, to a cool hangout atmosphere for teens, amazing excursions, beautiful port destinations, and top notch dining and spa services for the adults! Nothing compares to the Disney Cruise Line! Five stars!!!
Disney Cruise Line is really incredible. I once thought this cruise would be family and kid friendly only, but I was wrong! They have so many options for adults available. Disney Cruise Line really caters to everyone. The attention to detail and care is like no other, and the amenities and excursions available are top-knotch. If you’re looking for a unique, memorable cruise, Disney is a perfect option.
MY FAVORITE VACATION EVER! I will always 100% recommend a Disney Cruise to anyone who wants to go on a cruise. I’ve been on 7 of them and they will forever be my favorite vacation! The front half of the ships are adult only so it’s definitley not all just children everywhere. You cant beat their customer service, food, shows, overall experience. I cannot say enough good things about Disney Cruises!
I went on this cruise when I was in middle school and loved it. The restaurants were beautiful and the food options were endless. There was always something to do on the ship. The only downfall was their island. There was nothing really special about it and the water was foggy. When I went snorkeling I couldn’t see any fish because the water was so foggy. Other than that I would recommend the cruise!
