One of my all time favorite perfumes- luxurious vanilla, not too sweet. Lasts all day and pairs well with other perfumes if you like layering scents as well

A warm comfortable vanilla that stays long all day. It's a far cry from overly sweet vanilla fragrances. It's sophisticated due to the spice and incense and at the same time warm and cosy. This is a scent I feel that would work for all year round and I plan to make it my go to scent. The scent is there but not overpowering so this could work even in warm weather. Honestly,it's like getting an expensive fur coat from your rich 'I've been everywhere ' aunt. Elegant, with a whiff of her oriental journey but familiar and comforting. I remember testing this out on my wrist in a shop and spraying it on a tester card. With the card, I could smell more of the spice and incense but on my skin it had dried down to that warm elegant vanilla scent that I've been looking for. A lot of fragrances don't stay on my skin but eu duelle stayed on me the whole day! It might be pricey ( 180€ for a 75ml edp) but I think 4 sprays is enough for a day. Diptyque is one of my favorite fragrance houses and this is of of their best. Eau Duelle EDP is the most beautiful vanilla for the those of us who don’t love gourmand scents. It’s a spicy, smokey, boozy vanilla that is so cozy, especially in the cold months. Sometimes Diptyque fragrances don’t have the best longevity but I don’t have that issue with this one. I find Eau Duelle EDP lasts all day on me and I always get a lot of compliments!
