I find the shampoo texturally unpleasant, bad smelling, and stripping on the hair. However, it is effective and cheap. It clears up my scalp issues in one wash and I just come back to it as needed when I notice scalp issues.

I don't really have dandruff but I do have allergies that can make my scalp itchy and even prescriptions from the dermatologist don't help. But this does. It's also great if you tend to have extra oily hair and scalp like I do.
