I have very curly hair and got this to experiment with styling. I use it maybe once a week--not as often as I thought I might. It takes a bit of practice and investment to get the technique down, and I've found it leaves my hair with very neat corkscrew curls. 

Denman d3 is a spectacular hairbrush. My hair is in love with it because it helps me with frizz and my curlers are well defined for about 3 to 4 days, the latter depends on the care you give to your hair. It also has an excellent size to take it on a trip and you can easily clean it. His bristles don't have balls at the ends, so it doesn't break my hair. Bought this as it was recommended continuously! Bought 2 and paid $40! This was a complete disappointment I'm not sure why people rave about it! I can't even brush my hair without the entire thing falling apart time after time! So annoying!
