I’ve been using this perfume for a bit now and it’s honestly such a unique scent compared to anything else I have. This was my first time trying a scent from Dedcool, and it seems I've been missing out! It’s soft, clean, and cozy all at the same time. On me, it gives a warm, skinlike smell with just a touch of salty and sweetness, but nothing heavy or overpowering. It’s the kind of fragrance that doesn’t walk into the room first, but if someone gets close by me, they notice it and it smells really good. It also layers really nicely with my other scents, which surprised me and made me love it even more. The only downside for me is that it’s not super long lasting, so I do end up reapplying throughout the day, but it’s such a comforting scent that I don’t really mind.

I love lactonic fragrances — they are my favorite genre. So I was genuinely excited to try Dedcool's Mochi Milk, and while it is pleasant, it didn't make my heart skip a beat. To me, this fragrance does not smell like mochi. I don't detect the powdery softness of rice flour or the distinctive smooth, chewy milkiness that makes mochi so recognizable. Texture-wise, it is not soft or velvety either. Rather than the delicate, pillowy feel of the Japanese treat, it comes across as bright and transparent. At the opening, there is a vivid hard candy sweetness, touched with a hint of a light peachy tartness. That peachy nuance lingers for only the first ten minutes. In the heart, a warm, non-smoky incense begins to emerge. The transparent hard candy sweetness is joined by a fluffy, soufflé-like marshmallow note, and the whole sweet block starts to smell like jelly gummies to me. The green tartness gives way to something musky and amber-like. If I smell it directly from the wrist, that note turns sour and sharp, almost irritating to the nostrils — it smells extremely synthetic and plasticky. Yet when diffused by air, it adds some much-needed volume to the fragrance. As it develops, the perfume loses most of its projection and settles close to the skin like a cocoon. What remains is incense with a screechy sugary edge and a sour ambery base. It bears a slight resemblance to La Danza Delle Libellule by Nobile 1942. I'm not especially fond of that fragrance either, and I do prefer the opening of Mochi Milk to Nobile 1942's composition. Sadly, the bright beauty of the opening in Dedcool's perfume fades too quickly.

This was my first time trying a fragrance by dedcool and I’m really impressed! This is such a unique perfume and I’ve never smelled anything quite like it! It’s fruity and bright but also smells like riding in a car with the windows down near the beach! I love it! Mineral milk.
