Just a pea-sized amount is all it takes for this fluid to do its job (though I have combination skin.) It is velvety smooth going on and feels lovely. It keeps my skin matt, yet moisturized and smooth and keeps the shine away all day and all evening. Really highly recommended product for anyone who has excess shine they do not want.
