It gives a delicious touch when spread on bread ,it's muy favorite ,my daugther eats It even by herself ,I have to hide It hehe.Good price ,Easy to open packaing

I find it strange that so many give this butter a 5 star rating. I recently purchased my first pound of Darigold, we use a LOT of butter and leave a cube out on the counter. I was VERY surprised when I went to spread butter on my toast, it's not very spreadable, even after sitting on counter at room temp for 24 hours. Maybe that'll be a plus in the summertime, when we have 100+ temperatures, and other butters melt, and we have to put them in the fridge, we won't have to put the Darigold in the fridge. Another thing, when cooking with the Darigold, it SPATTERS! It's in the frying pan all by itself, and it splatters like there's water in it. I've always used butter to cook, never margarine, this is the first butter I've used that spatters, as if it has water in it, when frying. Haven't tried using this butter for cookies yet, not sure it would blend well, but, it may make nice pie dough.
