[product:cyberderm-natural-ava-isa-aurora-rose-tinted-facial-sunscreen-spf-45] a good tinted sunscreen to wear if you’re a redhead, or if your skin tone is particularly light. I had all but given up on tinted sunscreen. This is the first tinted sunscreen I’ve ever liked (and that’s counting the ones that are sold as for “light/ fair” skin) it’s also the first tinted sunscreen that I would actually wear because it’s the first tinted sunscreen that DIDN’T make me look like I had smeared a thin layer of some random person’s foundation on my face… foundation that (although labeled as light /fair) was always oily, separating, yellowish and tinted about 10 shades too dark for my skin tone. This tinted sunscreen matched perfectly and that has never EVER happened before, so it does get points for that. The tint is not too opaque, it’s very translucent, so it doesn’t give you anywhere near full coverage it’s not the same dark, yellowish tone that tinted sunscreens usually have though, so it has that going for it as well. The formula is more matte. It doesn’t spread easily like creamy formulas, so I ended up using a lot of it but at least the formula feels light enough and very well emulsified— it doesn’t feel like it’s runny, too oily or excessively watery either. The formula does feel a bit gritty going on though. It’s not extremely gritty and it didn’t prevent me from using it or from wanting to wear it again, under makeup. So in all likelihood, I will probably use the remainder of this tube but as of right now, I am still undecided as to whether or not I will repurchase it again in the future. I deducted 1 star for grittiness and 1 star for packaging. While the packaging at first made the product look very sleek and attractive, the box made it look like more than it really is. The box isn’t oversized, but it does make it look as though the tube is a bit larger and thicker than it truly is. Pay closer attention to the amount in ounces/ ccs, rather than the size of the box. The packaging makes it look to be about the same amount as other brands and it looks very nice at first, but once opened the flatness and thinness of the tube, coupled with its problematic rectangular design, made it unwieldy to use and unnecessarily awkward to secure the cap back on when done. Because of its thick texture, after only 2 uses, the tube already had that cartoonish “squeezed toothpaste tube” look and that’s with just 2 applications— and just on the face! I predict when it comes time to throw this tube out, there’s probably going to be a good amount of unused product still stuck inside made inaccessible by its design and (no matter how you try to flatten or squeeze it) you won’t be able to get to it.

I’m pale, redhead pale and it leaves a white cast. It’s also a bit drying, so you need to also use a moisturizer. I wouldn’t repurchase.
