Sorry guys, but i am not a CVS fan! In my opinion, when i have shopped at CVS, they are way too highly overpriced, especially in makeup and baby items. Where i reside, their customer service sucks, and their pharmacy is always, always running behind. My daughter just went to the doctor yesterday, and had an ear infection. Like always, CVS, is closest to our home, so we choose that pharmacy to fill our medicines. It took about 45 minutes to actually get to the pharmacy ( which left plenty of time to fill the script), and when we arrived, they said it would be a another 45 minute wait. We had to leave to get our other children off the bus...so we had to go back and make another trip later that evening. This happens 8/10 times at CVS. We are changing our family pharmacy to another....sorry CVS....just not a fan! :(
Every month I go for my prescription, the price is ALWAYS different ranging from $7 to $100. EVERY-TIME! My insurance has not changed in years and it is the same prescription every month. Pricing is also always different from when I call the pharmacist to tell them the same story every month with what happens to when I show up to pick it up. For example, they'll tell me its $7.00 over the phone but when I go to pick it up its $75.00 or the complete opposite. Ridiculous. I use to go to Walgreens years ago and NEVER had any issues. My insurance stopped covering Walgreens and switched over to CVS. This happens with every CVS i go to. Not just one specifically. So they call my insurance when I get there to pick it up after complaining about this over the phone 20 mins. previously about the same thing. My insurance tells them the same price every month as I'm standing there waiting. So it's on their fault. Annoying.
Being a member of cvs the coupons can be super beneficial! Especially if you visit frequently. You will slowly earn money back, which I wish you would earn faster although the coupons make up for the high prices.
CVS has one of the most reliable rewards systems out there. It's so easy to rack up points and either print out your coupons or have them sent directly to your rewards card for ultimate convenience. I'm obsessed with couponing there, and I've saved quite a pretty penny over the years. On top of that, the layout of CVS is easy to navigate, no matter what state or neighborhood you're in. They have clearly marked signs and it seems that they try to keep their stores as neat and manageable as possible. I also love the convenience of the pharmacy, and how easy it is to get your prescription pickup transferred to another store--even in another state! I also appreciate being able to get cash back. CVS has helped me out in a few pickles for sure!
have always trusted cvs to have what I need. I tend to but most of my makeup their Bc they always have good deals. The shopping experience is very good and easy. I would recommend cvs over other drugstores
I practically live at CVS. Unfortunately, it’s the only game in town. I live in the down town area and don’t have access to stores carrying products I like without driving a ways away. The fact that they carry food is a plus! They have great sales and incentives to buy there. Between the Extra Bucks for frequent purchases, specials, 1-2% cash back on many items and now the incentive to fill your prescriptions (10) there and you’ll receive $5 in extra bucks. Let’s not forget the green bag tag, their commitment to the planet. The green bag tag is like your CVS card, but you scan it after a purchase and receive $1 in extra bucks after you use your own bag for a certain amount of purchases instead of the store plastic bags. I think I’m the only one in my neighborhood that uses it. I’ve never seen anyone else. At any rate, happy with the variety of products, options and purchasing incentives.
I love CVS! I love earning rewards and using them towards different beauty products I wouldn’t normally buy ! It gives me a chance to try out new things! CVS always has my “drugstore” makeup I’m looking for!
CVS is a pretty good pharmacy we had gone there for awhile and had good service, the only complaint was their price was much higher then Walmart’s and even Publix so we switched
I do couponing for my family and I and this is my to go store! I find the best deals for very expensive items for a low cost! Customer service is the best there is out there, always has the newest products
