Upon opening up this particular product, I noticed that it had quite a bit of tackiness to it and that you would have to actually thin out the product on your hands before applying it to your hair. I have short curly, curly natural hair in which I haven't cut really short and it is maturing. I am a woman over 50 and it's essential to keep your hair moisturized and supple throughout this transition. I applied it on my hair and left the product on my hair for approximately 30 minutes. I use this mainly for a deep conditioning treatment when my hair is severely dry. Depending on the moisture levels in your hair, the product does have a slight residue when it's not completely infused in your hair. However, if your hair is severely dehydrated, this product will have your hair drunk with moisture. This product did not work well on long hair for me however, I have cut my hair shorter and find it does respond better to shorter hair and that you will need to apply heat to get the moisture levels that you so desire in your hair.

This product absolutely saved my hair. After realizing I have naturally curly hair, I introduced some curl smith products and I cannot recommend this one enough!! Moisturized my dry brittle hair and made it so silky and tangle free!

It was moisturizing but I’ve had products that are more moisturizing. This just kinda sat on my hair. It was almost like my hair didn’t want to soak this in. Smells fresh though! Didn’t repurchase
