Crown Royal Salted Caramel is a seasonal offering that blends the classic smoothness of Crown Royal Canadian whisky with the sweet, buttery richness of salted caramel.
Upon opening, the aroma is a warm scent of caramel, toffee, and subtle hints of vanilla. There’s a touch of sea salt that adds complexity, making the aroma almost dessert-like.
The salted caramel flavor is front and center—sweet but not overwhelmingly so. The whisky’s signature smoothness balances the richness, with underlying notes of oak and spice. The slight saltiness enhances the sweetness.
The finish is medium in length, leaving a lingering warmth with traces of caramel and a gentle touch of salt.
This whisky is delicious on its own, served neat or on the rocks. Great in cocktails as well! Such as in an old-fashioned or a caramel apple mule.
At its price point, it’s a great addition to a holiday gathering or a cozy night in.
Easily the best crown because of the flavoring. I’m not big someone who generally enjoys the taste of whisky but this is definitely in my top 3. I haven’t made any mixed drinks with this yet but I’ll have to try it with something soon.
