The Little Tikes Creative Chefs kits have been a lifesaver and one of my go-to activities to combat boredom. They provide hours of independent play time for my daughter! She loves to find things around the house that she can use to really show off her top chef skills (check out her cupcake decorations made from tape and paper). The baker one is her favorite because the stand mixer actually mixes up the sand. The sand included in the kit is a bit denser than kinetic sand which keeps it from making a mess everywhere. The box was frustration free to open and the kit included an easy to follow recipe card so my daughter could hop right into baking. The only thing that I’d consider as an area of improvement for this line is the mixing of the sand colors. It would be neat if she could play without having to worry about the various colors mixing together- but hey.. it’s sand! Haha

This is such a great set! The material is very similar to kinetic sand and is super fun for pretend play and sensory play. It can be messy but my son had so much fun playing with it. He loved that you can break the eggs open and that the mixer works!

The Little Tikes Creative Chefs baking kit is well made and cute for little ones! It comes with 18 pieces including reusable sand to make cupcakes! I love the mixer! There are no batteries or assembly required! My little ones play with this set all the time!
