My kids absolutely adore these kits! This was the first one we bought and it kept them entertained for ages. The little eggs are to be mixed in once but them we just made little balls of the big sand mix and popped them inside the eggs for play value over again. The actual make-it mix has been good and fresh for over a year of regular play, only just now it's started to not work well and crumble too much, but a year of play seems amazing when compared to other compounds that dry out within weeks. kids also loved using the sand mix to make animal figure footprints and all sorts of other play. Such versatile little kits. Even once the sand finally loses it's properties, you're left with adorable accessories for pretend play, playdoh ,or a replacement sand. We've bought half of this while range and they're all so well made and a hit with the little ones
