Crave Entertainment Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness
The Harvest Moon game franchise uses a tried-and-true format for their gameplay. While this version isn't the most balanced, it's pretty hard to make an inherently bad Harvest Moon game. Personally, I'd recommend any of the 3ds versions as they are updated graphically while keeping the gameplay mechanics balanced and comfortable.
While this game does have the charming older Harvest Moon style that harkens back to the days of the 90's, the graphics are simply outdated and watered down, the game is very repetitive and quite frankly not very fun to play. As a lover of the newest harvest moon games, in my honest opinion, it fell short of my expectations. Would only really recommend to die hard Harvest Moon fans who don't mind the grind.
This was the second Harvest Moon game i ever played and i loved it so much. After getting more i eventually realized it wasn't the best of the harvest moon games, but it still has the essential elements of their games. However i would not recommend this to someone who is very action oriented, my siblings are and they are forever confused as to why I like this game, but to those who like animal crossing, farming games, and relationship games, its a fun game to try.
This is a fun harvest moon game but challenging compared to the rest. You have to keep track of stamina, time, and money, which is hard when you're trying to expand and get the game going.
This might be one of the worst Harvest Moon games, but! It's still super fun to play and challenging.
