Do not use oven cleaners, steel wool, steel scouring pads, harsh detergents or detergents containing bleach or peroxide, which can damage the pan. Nylon scrubbing pads can be used on stainless steel surfaces only. Never place a hot pan under cold water, as it could cause warping.
And when it comes to stainless-steel pans, All-Clad really can't be beat. The pots and pans should last you forever if you take care of them (and are the undisputed favorite of chefs, both at home and in professional kitchens) because they're so durable and thoughtfully designed.
Cleaning & Care for Stainless Steel
It's so shiny and pristine, and if you stare at it long enough, you'll catch yourself daydreaming about all the searing, caramelizing, and sautéing you'll be doing. If cared for properly, your All-Clad Stainless Steel cookware will look this good and perform this well for a lifetime.
Most commonly, when food sticks to a stainless steel surface, it's because the surface was not sufficiently pre-heated, or, the cooking oil was put into the pan when said pan was cold. Always pre-heat the pan and check proper cooking temperature with the water bead test (you might research it).
To get rid of stuck on food or discoloration and stains from using too high of a heat, we recommend cleaning your All-Clad with a product called Bar Keeper's Friend. . To use the Bar Keeper's Friend, simply use a soft cloth or sponge and water and make into a soupy paste.
