  • "Beautiful shades for every eye color. Having brown eyes and black hair, I lean more towards neutral eyeshadows. These eye shadows are very beautiful, creamy and pigmented. You get the same effect as more expensive brands, but at an affordable price. If you want beauty and eye poppage without breaking your bank, try Easy Breezy Covergirl !! For a drugstore product, the pigment is not bad. Some colors are better than others on my skin tone. I do wish they had a few more mattes in here instead of one. It’s really hard to use one palette of all shimmers so I always have to reach for other shadows. When I first bought this, it was trial and error to see which brands blended best with this formula. When creating a palette, I want to use one palette for an eye shadow look, if I can. Ya know!?

There is lots of fallout too so definitely tap off extra and do foundation after eyes. Though with tapping off extra, I found I loose pigment...not good. So, I sometimes settle for extreme fallout to get maximum color payoff.

But again, its drugstore brand.

I'm confused by the "influenster 2017" award given this palette. It's just not that good. It's not creamy or blendable. It's very powdery. The one color in the palette that I do enjoy is the darkest brown in the palette. It's super dark and pigmented and it's great for setting my eyeliner. I just feel like physicians formula makes much better shadows. I don't think I'd buy this again. It's ok, just not great. Update: I've really gotta start keeping my products longer before reviewing them. I wasn't really wowed by this palette when I first got it, yet I find myself reaching for it more than any of my other palettes. The colors are just the perfect cool toned browns that I prefer. And although this does have tons of fallout and is powdery, I just have a hard time finding the perfect browns in other palettes bc they usually tend to be more warm toned. I think this palette has just that..the perfect brown tones if that's what you go for in your everyday look. Also, the shimmers in this palette are pretty amazing if you wet your brush first. They can be made to look pretty intense, which I should have tried before reviewing this. I take it all back...I understand the award given this palette. for the price, its a pretty amazing one.

I use this palette almost every day. The colors are neutral, which makes it perfect for any occasion. They work great with each other, but also mix really well with other palettes. The pigment is great, the texture is good (not cakey, but also not too powdery) so it sticks to my eyelid without a primer. There’s a mixture of matte and sparkly shadows and each one shows up on my skin (which is rare considering I have a darker skin tone). It lasts all day long and even with using it most days the palette lasts a long time (a little goes a long way)!

I’ve said it before, Covergirl is really hit and miss when it comes to their products. This is a miss. I got it at cvs after seeing awesome reviews and seeing that it was on sale, big mistake. It’s just so bad. There’s no pigment, even with a wet brush. Every color looks the same, even though they appear different in the pan. The shimmers aren’t shimmery, I think there’s like one matte which isn’t really enough to work with unless you’re pulling another palette into the mix.. it’s just bad. I really wanted to love it but sadly I couldn’t.

I bought the Peach Punch set when I was looking for new summer shades. They smell so delicious! My husband can smell the peach when he gets near my face and loves it. The shades are universally flattering and go on smoothly. They aren't the creamiest shadows and I have found a slight problem of dusting on my cheeks with application. A dusting of loose powder on my cheeks solves that problem. Just brush away any remnants! But for the price they are great! Very comparable to the Two Faced peach line. They last all day with no creasing.

I was very excited by this palette when O saw it. The colors are all so vibrabt and stunnning. When applied, though, the colors disappear. The blend together in a way that there is no color separation. They are not pigmented and are fairly dry. There is not a ton of kickback in the pan, but there is on the face when applied. Without primer, especially, the colors dont last as long, either. The one exception is the gold. The gold is very pretty, but I cant justify this palette for the one shade. Much better options on the market.

This palette for me unfortunately was a huge flop. When I received it I was so excited to try the colors because in pan they were beautiful. I immediately did arm swatches and the disappointment set in. The swatches yielded hardly any pigment. I tried to tell myself arm swatches don't mean anything and I attempted to create a look. It took so much to get any pigment and the colors either all blended together or looked nothing like the color in the pan (the gorgeous plum shade I loved ended up being a grayish black on my eye).

Review for: Roses, Nudes more...
I got these palettes as soon as I heard about them. They were advertised to be dupes of the famous Urban Decay Naked palettes. I got the Roses and Nudes palette to try out because I was so intrigued. The colors are beautiful in both palettes. I mainly use to the Roses palette because I've been into purple eyeshadows. They have medium pigmentation and blend nicely. However, they don't wear for a long time without any eyeshadow primer. There was a day when I wore them without primer, and it started fading away an hour after I applied it. However, I still do use these palettes and still like them.

Okay at first I was that one lonely girl that only wore eyeliner and mascara. I didn't really know how to apply eye shadow so I never wore any. My best friend applied my first eye shadow and I fell in love. She recommended Covergirl and even gave me personal tips. Now I'm some what of a pro and absolutely love the shades offered. The colors are vibrant and they aren't hard to apply. You have that easy application that doesn't male you apply several layers in order to get that fabulous color you want.

LOVE the "goldens," hated the "roses."
I really wanted to love the "roses." The color selection is beautiful! Great in theory! The colors were fairly powdery/crumbly but I didn't really see a problem with them blending onto the eye though. My big problems with the palette were that the shimmer shades were really more glittery than I would like to use. Additionally, only an hour after wearing the shades my eye started to be very irritated. These eye shadows were the only thing on my lids, therefore I know they are the cause of my reaction. This is not a typical experience for me and eye shadows. I returned this palette.

The "goldens" palette on the other hand I love! The colors are beautiful and can take you from an everyday golden look, to an all out evening golden or green look. The colors are much more metallic than chunky glittery which I absolutely love. And this product does not irritate my eyes. I plan on taking this palette with me when I go on an extended trip for 3 months abroad.

I am extremely interested in these eye shadows!! How pigmented are they? Does it take awhile to build up?
