COVERGIRL So Lashy! BlastPRO Mascara
- "Best drugstore mascara ive used. Its volumizing and lengthening without clumping up. I use it daily. *recieved complimentary to review and test!*" in 98 reviews
- "I received this product for free to test and review in my flawless voxbox. It's hard for me to find a mascara I love. My lashes aren't easily tamed. So, going into this I was a skeptic. I was also really nervous about the brush. It's truly unique. I've never seen anything like it. Application was a lot easier than I expected. The little ball on the end was an awesome tool to get those teenie tiny hard to reach first few lashes so it's name "lash finder" is absolutely fitting and appropriate...and the results... I'm IN love. My new go to mascara. It takes longer than usual to dry but the wait is worth it. It really does make your lashes so lashy. My wild lashes didn't stand a chance. It's not waterproof, and I would rather a waterproof mascara so, I'll be going to buy that to use. Also, it's easy enough to remove. For those that dont require a waterproof mascara...give this a try! I definitely recommend!!!!!!!" in 89 reviews
I bought this mascara a few years ago, I still have it in my makeup bag. Not because I loved it.... I used it once and it was so thin it fot all over my lid and bottom of my eye so bad I literally had to wash my makeup off and start over. I thought I would keep it to see if it would thicken up.... I never pulled it back out. Maybe I got a bad batch or something I don't know but it was by far the liquidiest mascara I've ever seen!
To be honest with you guys I only bought this mascara because James Charles was in the commercial. I was very surprised when I first used it, because it was very good quality. The wand has a little ball at the end which I find kinda useless, but apparently it’s supposed to get your lower lashes.
This mascara wasn't amazing or horrible. Just, eh. The formula wasn't bad, the brush was ok too. The main thing I liked about this mascara WAS the brush. On top of the brush it has tiny bristles that allowed for a more detailed application and easier for getting into tight, tough places. Slightly reminded me of the Benfefit They're Real! mascara brush. I wouldn't repurchase.
I'm not usually a CoverGirl user, but their inclusive advertising and marketing campaigns have convinced me to take another look. With the So Lashy! BlastPRO Mascara, I found a very serviceable mascara that can be used for every day, if you like a slightly more dramatic look. It flakes a tiny bit, but not so much that it's an all-day concern. Overall, I felt this was an affordable option for a non-serious makeup user. People who are super into makeup will want to move on to another product.
Not sure whether to rate this a 2 or a 3 stars product. I love covergirl and it gave me a little more volume than the last one I tried but it was pricy for its results. Clumpy, hard to apply & didn’t give me the length or volume I was looking for, still it didn’t smear & actually lasted all day. Much room for improvement

I bought this because I liked the idea of the wand and thought it would add volume... but uh - not a fan of the brush or the actual product itself. With the brush, I think it's the ball at the end that's the biggest issue. It makes my eyelashes super clumpy. I've managed to get around it and not have clumped lashes and decent volume but it's a pain. I noticed my lashes were actually sticking together with the product and I had to keep adjusting my lashes during the day which was a huge pain. I tried using a lot less product and still felt this discomfort from my lashes sticking together. I wouldn't buy again.

I was sent this product via a VoxBox to test out. Let's put it this way, I used it the bare minimum for the campaign and then put it away for good. I have almost a full tube of it that I have had no desire to touch. My whole problem with this product is the wand. The spiked ball at the end had good intentions, but so much product goops up on it that it is hard to use without getting mascara everywhere. The overall brush is so strangely set up that it is hard for your lashes to cling to the wand. I don't know what Covergirl was thinking with this one. Will not purchase and do not recommend.
Whenever I wear makeup, I wear probably two mascaras to make my eyelashes longer so I use this one for a second layer because it separates my lashes very well, I can also use it wearing one layer and it makes them pretty long! It gives mes that POP eyes Iook!
I was gifted this from my mom and it easily became one of my favorite mascaras. It makes my lashes look longer and thicker. I prefer drugstore mascara due to the price point and this one gets the job done. Just finished my second tube of this mascara.
Q & A
Does it make your lashes clumpy?
Is this mascara amazing or no? The wand is the selling point for me I'm pretty sure. I have tried soo many different style mascaras because they all claim their brush is where its at but it seems they all are always lacking some feature or features that I really want from a mascara brush. Catches all the lashes but doesnt add volume, or adds volume but cant reach the tiny corner lashes or doesnt separate, blah blah blah. But THIS brush though!!!😃 This ONE looks like everything i want in a wand! Please don't crush my hopes by tellin me it actually sucks!😭 No, actually DO tell me if it sucks cuz the last thing I need is another disappointing mascara purchase gathering dust in my makeup drawer. Thanks ladies😌
How is this mascara with separating the lashes? Are there any clumps?
Is this a good product.
Is this worth the price? Pros and cons?
