I'm so disappointed with CoverGirl makeup lately. I bought this eyeliner in espresso because it happened to be the only one in a brownish color that was at the store at the time and I needed one. The application of it is smooth and easy, which I liked. And that's about all I liked. Want to smudge it? Good luck getting that perfect look without taking it completely off, because that's how easy it comes off. Just one small touch and it's gone. So forget the smudging. In addition, it never lasts. I get that sometimes you need to reapply makeup during the day, but I shouldn't have to reapply my eyeliner only an hour or so after putting it on...sometimes even sooner than that. It's extremely disappointing. After a small string of bad quality makeup from CoverGirl, it'll take a miracle product from them to convince me they are worth spending money on again.
I have used Covergirl Pencil Eyeliner in the past and I don't feel like it holds up as well as my usual eyeliner. What I mean by this is that when I go to apply the eyeliner to my eyelids, it tends to break off from the applicator. I don't feel like it goes on as smooth as my regular eyeliner. I'd definitely be willing to try it again if I felt like the formula has changed.
I’ve used this product for 10+ years, since I was in middle school. I’ve never used anything else, because I always try something if I get a sample, but then always end up going back to this product. My mom always used it, so I got practice with hers and then ended up getting my own and sticking with it. Don’t fix something that’s not broken, right? Only complaint is that it wears off by the end of the day. But I don’t mind, I just reapply. I’m super loyal to this product.
I used to use covergirl eye liner all the time, but then it started giving me eye infections on the regular so I stopped instantly using it. My eyes never got infected again, then I ran out of the brand I switched to and used my moms Covergirl eyeliner to hold me over until I got some more of mine, and within 10 minutes my eyes were burning, red, make up smearing everywhere. So I had to wash it all off and put my glasses on for the rest of the night. It was horrible. Maybe I am allergic to something in the product, but it does not work for me at all. Hardly any of Covergirls make up products work well for me except certain eye shadows, and even then I am skeptical of using them.

So it ain't so, Cover Girl! You've been my go to ever since my mom let me start wearing makeup! How could you let me down so terribly??? This pencil is a little stiff in application. If you try to smudge it right away it smudges away to nothing. Even if you don't try to smudge, it wears off long before the work day ends. I'm so disappointed. My search for the perfect pencil continues...
I absolutely love this product! I use this on my waterline and it definitely does the trick when I'm running late in the morning and can't spare the extra time for fleeky eyeliner. For an affordable price, it's worth it. But because it's not waterproof, it smudges and disappears sometimes (makes sense because I use them for my waterline). However, reapplication is no problem.
I used to love this eyeliner. I wore it every day for years. Then one day something happened, maybe they changed their formula or something because I began to have trouble with this eyeliner. It would melt into my eyes and irritate my eyes. I would come home from work looking like a vampire with red eyes. I stopped using it and found other eyeliners to wear.
I have been using this product for a long time! I like it for the most part but I am in the market for some new liners. The last few have not lasted me more than 2 months and I don’t use a lot of eyeliner. They have also been smudging easier as well. I think the formula must have changed! But for the price I guess it’s ok. And I do like the blending end.
I know , I know it's covergirl it's cheap. But this is the only eyeliner I am able to use. It's the only one that doesn't burn my eyes. I've used expensive brands like urban decay and I always end up going back to my good ol' covergirl. I stock pile this stuff I have 4 in my makeup bag at the moment they alway have coupons and I never run out!

I don’t wear black eyeliner so I found this color and love it! It’s a soft grey and looks great with my green eyes! It goes on smooth and doesn’t smear. Long lasting wear and I recommend this brand to anyone who wants a great price for a long lasting eyeliner
