For so many years, this was a tried and true powder in my freelance kit. It has a natural finish and I loved it for setting the whole face (not the under-eye.) There’s no SPF, but use a separate product specifically for sun protection. So that being said, I would still most definitely recommend to others. Especially if you’re an artist looking for a good powder for your freelance kit that works for a bunch of skin tones. As far as I know, I owned all of the shades so I could accommodate anyone that booked with me, and because this powder is more on the affordable side for me personally, so I was able to invest in buying them all. I think that if you have oily skin it’s good at keeping them at bay for many hours, but I don’t think if will keep you completely shine free and matte for the entire day. I do think you may have to blot and/or touch up per your own preference if your wearing this for multiple hours. It always depends on how oily your skin is, but if you are someone that is super oily they make a matte version of the powder. Overall, I think it’s a great versatile product and I’ve gotten so much use out of it over the past 6+ years. I personally used the shade 125 Buff Beige on myself and I’ve gone through at least 3. I have very dry skin, and I have found powders I like better and how they sit on my specific skin type better. But whenever I need something that I know I can count on whether it be for myself or a client, I can always reach for this and I know I will be happy with the results. Just keep in mind that this powder can be overdone. If you apply to much it will give the skin a powdery look of course. I highly recommend using a good setting spray after using this powder to set the face. I do that with all of my powders regardless, but I think that it always helps the makeup, but powders specifically to melt into the skin beautifully.

I will always be nostalgic for covergirl pressed powder. It was one of the two makeup items my mother got me after I obsessively asked. I’ve used this in recent years and think it’s a great middle of the road powder. Not too thick. Not too sheer. Not crazy impressive but still does the job. It does have an interesting odor but it goes away upon application.

I use the buff beige and the color is super complimentary to my skin tone. I have pale tan tinted skin so it’s really hard to find a foundation in my skin tone! The powder itself works decently well for a drugstore setting powder. It keeps me from looking shiny for most of the day until about 4ish, but given that I usually put it on about 6:30 am, that’s a pretty long time! It lasts me for quite a while since I don’t have to use much every day which is also super nice!

This works well to set make up. Be careful to get the right shade as it can and will darken your foundation. My recommendation is to get a lighter color than you think you need. That being said, this powder will smooth over your pores and add a little extra coverage to your foundation. It’s great to touch up on the go and get rid of that extra shine throughout the day. It’s cheap, works well and can be found almost anywhere. #covergirlclean #influenster

This is the ONLY powder that I have ever used. I continue using it without trying any other powders because the results are amazing. I have oily skin and the powder helps keep my face from getting oily. I like reapplying it throughout the day to keep my face looking fresh and oil free. This product is a life saver when it comes to my oily skin!

This is my go to compact setting foundation powder that I wear daily. It gives more coverage than a translucent setting powder does. It lasts all day and keeps my makeup matte and not shiny. I also like the blue compact that is their new matte compact. I definitely recommend both.

First of all, this product has an amazing fragrance for what it is. I'm an asian indian with a tan/brown skin shade. most powder foundations end up giving a white patchy finish on the sides of my nose, chin and temple areas. The Medium Light #135 shade is the perfect shade for my skin complexion. It blends in perfectly and I even use it to cover up outbreaks on my skin. A layer of moisturizer followed by a gently dab of the powder on the red area covers up the outbreak, making it look less intense and flatter. Perfect for those days you need to deal with outbreaks and running late to work.

I began using Cover Girl products as a teenager and have been using them for over 30 years. I have been searching for a powder foundation and was excited when I came across the Cover Girl Clean Pressed Powder Foundation. Unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. First, I've always noticed that Cover Girl powders have a distinct scent. This is no exception, however with this product it is extremely overpowering. Secondly, calling this a foundation is misleading. I don't find that this product offers any more coverage or does anything different than any other Cover Girl traditional Pressed Powder, which do not provide coverage but instead are a finishing powder
