I tried the Covergirl Clean Lip Color and really enjoyed it! The formula feels smooth and lightweight on the lips, with a creamy satin finish that looks flattering and comfortable all day. It glides on easily and gives rich color payoff in just one swipe. I also liked that it kept my lips feeling hydrated instead of dry, thanks to the nourishing ingredients like squalane, avocado, and aloe butter. The packaging is sleek and easy to carry in my purse for touch-ups. Overall, this is a great affordable lipstick with beautiful shades, comfortable wear, and clean beauty benefits. It is very clear and transfer.

I purchased what appeared to be 4 very different shades of this lip color online only to receive 4 colors which appeared to be 2 different shades of only 2 colors with one being just slightly lighter than the other. The lipstick itself is not smooth or moisturizing, it feels dry and drags on my lips while applying. After application, I noticed my dry lips left visible scratch marks on the lipstick itself. Most disappointing is the smell, this is a non scented product but, all four tubes smell like play dough and have that distinctive old smell you might find in a forgotten lipstick that has sat in a drawer for many, many years. I was not impressed by the performance of this lipstick as the color settles into lines, feels dry on my lips, transfers, and needs frequent reapplication. I do appreciate that the clear tube allows me to easily see the color inside, it is clean and cruelty free! However, I would not repurchase or recommend this particular product.
