I have dry, dehydrated, sensitive skin that breaks out from silicones and is prone to developing keratin plugs. I got this foundation thinking that it was silicone free but later found out that it has a silane which is a silicone. I really like how this foundation looks because it is one of the few low silicone foundations that isn't sheer coverage, you can easily get medium to full coverage with this, or use sparingly for lighter coverage. Because I have dry skin this cream formula can be a little drying so I usually apply an oil right before as a sort of primer to help spread it and blend. It is still on the drying side so I only use when I am going to be photographed or I am going to an event and not on a daily basis. I think this would work best on normal or combo skin but can probably be worked with for dry or oily skin with certain primers, setting powders and sprays, etc. When I do wear this I need to make sure I get it all off at night before I break out or develop keratin plugs in my t zone because the waxes can be a bit heavy for acne prone skin. I have found that using an oil or oil cleanser to remove makeup and follow up with a makeup removing cleanser (Drunk Elephant Beste) I don't have any issues with it not getting removed entirely. It can look a bit patchy around my dry areas, like brows and nostrils, but it isn't that noticeable unless you look for it. I have light neutral olive skin which is quite hard to match. I originally got matched to G40 in the summer but it oxidized and became quite yellow and made me look jaundiced. I returned it in the fall after my tan faded and got N20 and it is a better match in terms of undertone but not perfect. I have the click stick versions in N30 and N40 to mix based on season and it works nicely and I don't have to buy full pans of each shade which would add up. Overall I like this foundation, it photographs beautifully and wears all day while having a large selection of shades. I just wish it didn't have any silicones at all because if I wear more than once every two weeks or so I break out. I would recommend to people with more or less normal skin looking for a medium to full coverage foundation that photographs well and gets along with almost all other cosmetics.

It has been years since I’ve used this foundation and there’s a reason. I was looking for a cream/liquid to powder foundation and was recommended this product and I couldn’t stand it. Blending was more difficult than it should’ve been and no matter how much I blended it just didn’t... blend basically. Even when I tried a different shade I could never get that finish I wanted. To be honest I wouldn’t recommend this product that’s just me but for the price I would just pick out another product over this. 🤷♀️

I love the way this applies. It goes on like a dream and is full coverage. I've been using this for about a month to truly get a sense for it and I honestly have to say I don't really like it. It just doesn't have staying power. After about the 4th hour it's breaking apart and by hour 6 it's basically gone from my skin. I've used different primers and setting powers & sprays all with the same results. This is a no go for me.

I was very excited to try the Cover FX Total Cover Cream Foundation in Color P10 as it came highly recommended from my Sephora artist. Sadly, I was very disappointed. It is one of the worse foundations I have ever used as it accentuated imperfections on my face I didn’t even know existed. I have combination skin and this foundation made my skin appear extremely dry no matter what preparation I did before applying the foundation. Cover FX also claimed that this foundation would appear natural on the skin but my foundation was extremely cakey making me look older than my youthful 23 years. The application was also horrendous as it is too thick and difficult to apply. It pains me to even give this product a single star as it deserves zero. THIS PRODUCT WAS A FLOP COVER FX!

I bought this from Cover FX thinking it was perfect for me because of the lack of unhealthy ingredients and inclusion of healthy ingredients like squalane. The squalane is what really hooked me. That and the fact that the foundation is a cream. I watch a lot of Wayne Goss and he has recommended cream foundations for dry skin like mine. I thought the foundation would be super moisturizing. It looked and felt very dry on me after just an hour of wear. I wanted to love it. It looked so beautiful and skin-like in the compact. I'm sure it would look lovely on women with semi-dry skin. It just didn't work for me. I've now purchased the FX liquid foundation to try. Also the color was just a tad too light for me. The N10 that I also tried was the better color Cover FX Total Cover Cream Foundation

I have searched a long time to find a setting powder that does not look cakey and distorts my foundation, I am very pleased with this one, I also like the fact it dosent change colors in the middle of the day as some I have used does, I like the feel of this one, it is just what I have been looking for, I will repurchase, very nice setting powder indeed.
I love this foundation. I rarely buy foundations but this was worth it since it was good for acne prone combination skin. Since my nose and t-zone were very oily I found using blotting paper there helpful. It was pretty lightweight and gave full coverage with layering. One container last 4 to 5 months used daily

Beautiful coverage! Also very light weight for a cream foundation! It’s also really long wear and the texture is very silky. This specific color though pulls a lot of red undertones so I have to make sure my concealer and setting powder is golden just to balance it out! It’s a nice cream foundation! Come second to my hourglass cream stick.

You can make it look natural or you can make it FULL coverage. It’s not cakey. I have oily skin and I love it, there is A LOT of shades, it covers my acne scars, dark circles, and it doesn’t have flash back. It’s becoming one of my favorites, and it doesn’t break me out.
