The following opinions are mine and mine alone. This is the first place that I stayed with my boyfriend who I have now been with for 3 years. It was a very nice hotel, the nicest one I had been to because I had always used Budget Hotels due to my financial restraints before and growing up my family always got Budget Hotels also and I totally did not know what I was missing! The beds are amazing! The pillows are very comfortable also, and the shower had beautiful glass walls. It had a coffee maker and microwave and TV of course, and we got a king bed so we had a refrigerator in our room and in the bathroom there were nice plush towels and a Travelers kit of Pantene shampoo and conditioner and I believe a few other items like lotion and toothpicks. It had a table and chairs if you need to sit somewhere to work and free WiFi without needing a password. We really enjoyed our stay and they had a wonderful breakfast so my boyfriend went downstairs and got a plate of eggs, bacon, and sausage for me and brought it up to the room which was lovely, and I felt SO PAMPERED. I highly recommend this. I think everyone would be comfortable at this hotel. It is worth the price between a budget hotel and one that is nicer.
A little tip, often times if you find a hotel that is similar for a cheaper rate you can call the hotel directly and book a room and they will beat that rate or match it, or give you other discounts like a veteran's discount which we got (10%) and we got another discount for booking straight away with them instead of using some online matching company. So make sure and call and build a rapport with a manager and let them know you love their hotel but found a similar one cheaper and ask if they can match for you, it does not hurt to ask.

Everything was amazing. We stayed at the Lake Placid Courtyard and the service and hotel was amazing. You walk in and bathroom was to our right with a half wall privacy area for toilet. Complimentary Paul Mitchell makeup remover, facial bar, body soap, shampoo and conditioner. The bath was 60 inches to lay down with a seating areas behind it. Outside the bathroom was a coffee stand with complimentary coffee. The king bed was facing the window and there was a pull out sofa facing a flat screen tv. The only reason why I gave 4 stars was because of the views. Wasn’t good, we were facing the parking lot and in a area of just trees. The pool was a kidney shaped pool with 2 hot tubs (1 not working) but not a big deal bc not many people were swimming in the pool at 8 am. Just us and another person and they left. They also had a gym and little cafe restaurant for breakfast and a courtyard to sit and relax outside.

Courtyard Marriott hotels! We recently took a trip to Georgia and stayed at the Courtyard Marriott hotel. It was beautiful! Upon pulling up there were plenty of parking spots and the outside wasn’t too fancy, making it comfortable. When you walk in it was so modern and up to date that we were in awe. The rooms were amazing too! Very soft and plush pillows and covers, very spacious and very modern! The bathroom was beautifully built and the walk in shower was awesome in that it didn’t have any doors or curtains to fuss with and definitely loved the shampoos, conditioners and soaps!! The only downside to the room and hotel was that there were no microwaves in the actual rooms, just the main lobby. The pool was spacious, peaceful and provided different depths which was perfect for our family of 4. Overall I give the hotel 4 stars for the aesthetics and comfortability but the reasons why I couldn’t give them 5 stars would be the fact that there was no personal microwave in the room as well as there was no complimentary breakfast provided like in other hotels and it was a tad on the pricey side. All in all though we did enjoy our stay and would recommend to others in the future!

I loved this place! The rooms are so beautiful, and everything is updated. The one I always stay at has an indoor pool/ Jacuzzi. It also has a small eatery, and bar. The main floor also has tvs at each table booth. There's also a short privacy wall, so u can sit there and do some work, and don't have to worry about people looking over your work. They also offer free Wi-Fi. My child had a report due for school that following week. She was able to go down to the computer/internet room, and finish her report. Not only that, they aloud her to print it from there for FREE! It's a very clean hotel, and the staff were do polite and helpful. The only thing I would have to say o don't like was the maid service. When we got there, you can tell they didn't vacuum under the chairs by the windows cause there was a bunch of noticeable crumbs all around and under the chair. Then the worse part. We went to get into bed that night, and there was a candy wrapper at the foot of the bed, under the covers. Then when we pulled back the duvet, we saw clothes marks, and something else that wasn't chocolate. When I asked for a new room, I was told there wasn't any available. So I HAD to change our sheets, and I even asked for a new duvet, and was told I had to wait till morning to get that. I could only get sheets and pillow cases. I wasn't offered anything for the inconvenience at 11:30pm. But other then that, we had a great and relaxing time, and we have been back since the time.

I recently stayed at this hotel line on a recent trip to Virginia Beach. I stayed at the one in Norfolk, VA. It was a very clean hotel and the rooms were nice. I had a room with a pool view for a last minute discount. I wish the parking was a bit better and wished the hotel was near some restaurants. The hotel was located almost right off the highway, but it was about 25 minutes from the beach boardwalk. I really liked the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash they provide, which is an invigorating tea tree. All-in-all, I would stay there again.

I recently stayed at a Courtyard by Marriott hotel for a work function. The staff was amazing, the room was very clean. When staying at a hotel my main concerns are cleanliness and comfort. The room had a nice bed with many different types of pillows. Some were harder and some were softer. I enjoyed having the option between the two. The room was updated and decorated nicely. The staff was very helpful with walking me through the steps of my check in and check out. I will definitely stay at these hotels in the future. Courtyard Hotels

Marriott Courtyard hotels are the bottom of the barrel as far as the Marriott chain. The rooms are big & nice, however they aren’t as accommodating & don’t offer a lot of the amenities that the other hotels in the Marriott chain do. We had some negative service at a Courtyard in New York & it has turned me off of the Courtyard.

I stayed at a courtyard hotel at San Antonio and I loved that they came and gave us clean towels and sheets every morning and there nice looking. What I didn't like was that there was no microwave and if you took off the covers from the mattress you see that they were peed on and it had different types of stains. Which made me think dispute the clean sheets and towels if they ever really do deep clean the room and restrooms.

Spent 3 nights here while dropping my niece off at Western Michigan University. The location was great. Right off I-94 and about 10 minute ride to campus. A plethora of restaurants and shopping in immediate area.
The entire staff here was so friendly and helpful from the reservation call to the housekeepers who left friendly notes.
Our only disappointment was that there was a private party in the lobby and courtyard area on the night we were hoping to relax there. Would be nice if they had a separate area for such functions so other hotel guests aren't excluded from the common areas.
