This particular item is a vegetable oil spread but Country Crock does offer real spreadable butter.

The amount of beta carotene in the butterfat depends on a few factors: Animal feed is the most important (grass-fed dairy produce more beta carotene than cows who are fed grains). The season of the year is also important because in cold-climate winters grass is scarce. Additional factors may also do with the cow's breed (different breeds produce milk with different % of fat and with different fat globule size). Additionally, the biological makeup of milk changes throughout the lactation period

Yeah so basically butter spread has pretty much what she mentioned below which is butter salt or no salt ! This spread has things like vegetable oil, water, milk and other additives ... it's not as tasty as butter though . But you can use it for anything .

Real butter is just made of cream and sometimes salt. That's it. No other ingredients. Country Crock is made of preservatives and oils. I have noticed the last year or so that they have cut back on the bad ingredients though 😊
