Can you use this as a substitute for regular butter in any recipe?

I grew up with this being the only "butter" we had in the house... That being said, I still use it for most things, but there are a few things i would not substitute it in as it is lighter!

I wouldn't substitute it. This has a lot of water and vegetable oil in it. Butter and margarine are totally different when baking. Perfect as a spread or in/on potatoes, rice, etc...

I wouldn't substitute either. My cookiea come out puffy with margarine and normal woth regular stick of butter

I've substituted it and it works well with me! Just put a generous amount because it's a little lighter.

I wouldn't use it as a butter substitute As its a spread. Doesn't have the same properties as real butter there for will change the outcome of the recipe. You can use it when cooking stove top things. As for baking I would not substitute in baking.
