It deserves its reputation! The battery life is excellent, the vibrations are powerful, and it’s very easy to grip and hold to get the right spot. However, I’ve been using this for over a year, and it’s begun rattling and becoming louder - I think some internal component must have come loose. Still usable, but definitely a little less discreet.
