We used the wine as a base for a winter mulled wine, and it was phenomenal! I usually find red wine bitter, but the Coppola wasn’t (and it wasn’t sweet). Very smooth texture and didn’t come with the flammable alcoholic scent some wines have. Beautiful packaging as well, so it would make a great gift

For the price point, I've definitely had better. We purchase wines within this price range and lean towards dry wines. This wine was more tart than dry, with some sweetness. It's worth finishing the bottle but not repurchasing for us personally.

This Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles was ok and drinkable. There are dark stone fruit notes like cherry and plums consistent with cabs. Although the structure and tannins are cab-like, I do think it lacks a bit of the mid palette profile and feels empty and lacking at times. It is ok for 14 dollars but does not drink above its price point. I did let it sit out for a few days and it seemed to open up and get better. [This review was collected as part of a promotion]
