I love this percolator. I haven't owned a countertop coffeepot for over a decade. I usually just brew single cups with a pour-over setup, but when I am group camping or have company over, out comes this ol' beaut. It's a good size to ensure everybody gets a cup, and it's quite easy to clean afterwards. There is room inside when packing for camping, to throw a Ziploc with your grounds and sugar, if you're trying to save room. I also like how you get the most from your grounds in one of these. Two tablespoons of grounds in this percolator make a stronger, richer coffee than say, a pour-over or traditional coffee pot. Now, this doesn't really give me any issues, but the metal grounds compartment (filter part) isn't perfect. Some very small fines will pull through into the coffee chamber. If you let it settle for a minute after pulling from the heat, they will sink to the bottom . All in all, a very handy little device that brews a nice strong cup of coffee.
