I really love using these every season. I love Caramel and I love apples and when the two come together its heaven. It's not exactly healthy but as far as a dessert item goes it could be a lot worse. Especially around Halloween.
So getting these off the wax paper is hard initially but by following the directions and putting them in the freezer for one minute they come right off.
This kit is very useful since its cheap and comes with everything you need including the popsicle sticks. That saves money and waste since you're not having to buy an entire pack of popsicle sticks it will take you years to use up if you ever do.
These can be a little hard to stretch over the entire apple so I suggest using small apples. I also suggest leaving them in the oven for a little while longer than suggested until they at a least begin to warm, soften and start to melt a tad. Following the directions mine were the same as the moment I put them in the oven.
The taste is great. They are thick and creamy but not messy at all. It is the perfect caramel apple. There's a nice caramel flavor with a great buttery undertone. Exactly how you want your caramel.
I add my own special touch to this set by getting some caramel apple dip and dipping the bottoms in it like a 3rd of the way up so they are completely covered in caramel even when using a bigger apple.
The caramel sheets will rip if you try to pull them more than a little bit past their natural shape so don't do that. But if it happens its not a big deal. They may not look as pretty but they still taste great.
I totally recommend to all crafty mommas looking for an easy and fun festive holiday treat activity for kids of all ages and to those who just love caramel apples. Give it a try!
Theyre cheap and easy to find at any big box store like Wal-Mart or your local grocery store.

For anyone that has made caramel apples the old fashioned dipping way, this is by far the easiest and quickest method ever! My teenage son and 7 yr old whipped up this super yummy dessert in less than 10 minutes total! They simply took 5 apples, covered them with the caramel apple wraps, inserted sticks and added the toppings of choice. His selections were bacon (he cooked these first and cut up), graham cracker crumbs and melted white chocolate! Baked apples in the oven for 5 min at 200 degrees-and they were perfect! He added a few white chocolate chips after to the top for decoration.

I love these! I use them every year for Halloween! They are so easy to use and super delicious! I do admit that they are a little bit difficult to stretch out over the apple so you may want to use medium size apples and stretch the caramel a little bit before putting it on the apple.

I know these things are old school, but after trying to melt caramel and dip apples (and having fail after fail) I now know these things are your best bet!! I tried every trick there is to dip melted Caramel but it still eventually slid off the apples! These are so much easier; just wrap/mold the caramel sheet around the apple and you're good to go!

Kids loved making caramel apples all you do is stick a stick in your apple wrap the sheet of caramel around your apple and pop em in the oven until your caramel is a lil sticky pull em out and we rolled ours in resse's pieces!!! These are a great way to have a mess free caramel apple dipping experience. They work the best to actually stick on the apple and not fall off or break apart from the apple. The taste is just like a caramel apple at the fair and is easily moldable to fit the apple perfectly.

These are pretty handy, but I"m pretty sure I did it wrong. They are pretty easy to use, good price, and not a lot of mess.

I almost bought these but they seem like they would be messy and I'm not sure about putting a apple in the oven. Anyone tried these?
