This brush is really nice for making my dogs fur smooth. It has a nice gel handle and is very comfortable to hold. The button on the back of the brush is great for easy release of all the excess fur it takes off my pup.

Nice,and sturdy helps deshedding process go smoothly on pet dog.I have a German shepherd and her coat gets cleaned and deshedded and it does not hurt pet.

Levi doesn't love this one. I think it might work better for shorter haired dogs. This doesn't seem to penetrate deep enough to get that undercoat to help detangler and smooth the coat. Further, the little metal wires come loose from the brush and I've been finding them in my socks, the carpet, etc... These could be bad if the dog swallows them. I do appreciate the self-cleaning aspect though.
