It's just okay. I had one with a much wider barrel that I really loved but after having it for several years, the wiring got a short in it and it shocked me so I had to throw it away. LOL I got this one on a whim at Sally's Beauty Supply because my hair is so fine and thin that it's flat without something like this. Not only is the barrel pretty narrow, but the whole entire device gets hot to touch. So that makes it very difficult to style your hair because you have to touch it the entire time!

My hair is a lot less frizzy after using it and it gives so much extra volume to your hair. I also use this for loose curls in my hair and they always turn out amazing. Recommend buying this is you are trying to save time styling your hair. Definitely easy and convenient to use.
