I expected this hot comb to work like a traditional one, but the thick gold comb made it difficult to use effectively. It didn’t grip my hair smoothly and ended up pulling strands out, even on silky straight hair. I returned it to my local Target. While the concept is great, the design needs improvement to straighten hair without causing breakage. This particular comb doesn’t reach the roots well and won’t distribute heat evenly, leading to uneven straightening. For me, this product missed the mark, despite my general love for Conair products.

It’s a plug in hot comb no stove needed gets your hair really straight to. Works very well and doesn’t slip out of my hand very comfortable when holding it.
