I've been using the OXO Gg compact toilet brush and canister for a while now and honestly its one of those upgrades you dont realise you needed. Its super slim so it doesnt take up much space. The brush itself is sturdy and does a solid job getting under the rim and into the curve of the bowl. The briscles are firm enough to actually scrub properly but no so stiff that it splashes everyhere. One thing that i like is the automatic canister that opens when you lift the brush and put it back. Its very comfortable to use, the handle is firm and has lots of grip and its worth the price
