It’s the best hedge trimmer I’ve used. It’s got a nice long pole and slips in the bush so nice and easy. It’s smooth like butter. It has 3 different speeds which really helps trim the bush just how you like it. Only issue I found is the length of the pole makes it heavy and hard to maneuver around tight spaces.

Ego tools For the last 7 years I’ve lived in a neighborhood with an hoa that takes care of our lawns. I’ve had some low end store brand battery power yard tools for parts of the landscaping they don’t tend to often (back and sides of course). With the arrival of Covid I lost the work I had been doing for some 30 years and found my self doing (back)yard work for neighbors and all of my home tools were now also work tools. I got enough yards (outside my neighborhood)to do lawn maintenance that I purchased some gas powered equipment as my battery powered “home owner” tools were insufficient for this new task. The gas tools had enough power but came with their own sets of issues for each. I was thrilled to learn I would be able to test commercial grade battery equipment and after my first use with the Ego edger and hedger I bought an Ego blower. I have been supremely impressed with the edger and hedger performance. I currently maintain lawns and landscaping for 4 homes, each worth several million dollars. I’ve had neighbors of my clients compliment my work and stand and watch in a baffled sense of awe at how silently my tools perform. I am strongly considering the Ego push mower for these homes in this exclusive area. For hedging- nicely balanced with the heavy battery and a nice long reach. Clean cuts and beautifully squared bushes with this tool. The carbon fiber shafts make these the McLaren of yard tools. As many stars as possible for my rating.

This trimming tool works perfect, especially getting to those hard to reach spots. The extended pole is a game changer. With the extended pole you can really get into those hard to reach spots without using a ladder. This really makes getting those yard chores done more quickly and efficiently.
