I’ve had this Roomba Combo j5 for a couple of months, and while it does a solid job vacuuming, the overall experience has been frustrating. The roller never tangles with hair, which I really appreciate, and the mapping feature is actually impressive — it’s accurate at detecting rooms and makes it easy to divide or adjust cleaning areas in the app. But the robot itself struggles to dock and often misaligns so it doesn’t charge. Cleaning paths are inconsistent — sometimes skipping areas, other times going in circles for hours (one cycle took 4 hours instead of 30 minutes!). The mopping feature also feels half-baked; it doesn’t detect carpets properly and leaves me vacuuming again after.

The Roomba Combo j5 isn’t all bad — the vacuum part actually works pretty well, and the brush never gets tangled with hair, which is a plus. But honestly, it’s been more hassle than help. It keeps bumping into furniture, gets stuck in random spots, and still leaves dirt on the floor. The mopping feature is the biggest letdown — it even goes over carpets with the mop on, and after it “mops,” I still pick up a ton of dirt when I vacuum again. Feels like the mop is just a gimmick.
