As a person with extremely oily hair, I’ve circled through my fair share of dry shampoos. The COLAB Unicorn Dry Shampoo has been my most recent go-to. It’s a perfectly solid option that I think will be great for most shoppers. That being said, I’ve found that it leaves more to be desired in my day-to-day life. In terms of effectiveness, this product works. It feels light on my head and tends to keep me oil free even in the most stressful of situations. It has always brushed through easily, without weighing my hair down or making it feel like my scalp has been slathered in product.This COLAB dry shampoo improves a lot on the issues that I have had with similar products. Yet, I find myself hesitant to re-purchase it. The packaging is somewhat deceiving. While it advertises no residue, I’ve definitely had a powdery white look to my hair after spraying. It’s somewhat reduced, but not all gone. Not enough for it to stand out when I am thinking about my next purchase. The scent is also really overpowering. Very perfume-like and not really all that pleasant. It feels like it’s trying to cover up the bitter, aerosol smell that you get from a lot of similar products. Ultimately, it comes down to how you feel about that sort of thing. The COLAB Unicorn Dry Shampoo is effective, but not my favorite. Nonetheless, a really solid option if you don't mind a strong scent or powdery roots.

While it does its job perfectly, I actually preferred the original fragrance to this unicorn scent. The spray distributes evenly in a fine mist, instantly adding volume and freshness to my hair. The 200ml size is perfect for keeping in my bag or on my dresser. Overall, it's a fantastic dry shampoo that delivers on its promises, even though I wish they'd stick with the original scent!
