There is no Picture of Mount Gay Rum available in this app or its website. It is currently owned by the Rémy Cointreau Company.
Mount Gay is the oldest Rum producer established in 1703. It is associated strongly with sailing and sailors. Mount Gay Rum is somewhat unique in flavor and wins Medals in Rum Tasting Events. The company had a close relationship with Harold Stirling Vanderbilt and is the official sponsor of the United States Sailing Association founded by him. In fact Mount Gay created and named a cocktail Stirling Punch after Harold Stirling Vanderbilt.
The association chooses the US yacht team that represents the country competing in the Olympics. How such an important Rum Company has been excluded from this application is beyond my understanding.

This stuff is good. It's pretty expensive though. I got it on sale, which is the only reason I bought it otherwise I would never spend that much money on this. It's great to mix with fruit drinks to add that extra flavor. I also like a splash with my rum and ginger ale. It isn't a drink I would drink on its own. Overall, it's a good thing to have around the house to add to drinks, but I wouldn't say that it's worth the price.

Cointreau is a great mixer that is great for light cocktails. I use this mostly to make a pomegranate cosmopolitan. Sooooooo good! A bit pricey but a great liqueur to add to any home bar! I would recommend this to anyone who loves to mix orange liqueurs with their cocktails.

This is my all time favorite orange liqueur and a staple in my at-home bar. It's wonderful in mixed cocktails - I couldn't have a good margarita without it! It's a classic with its attractive bottle and great taste.

Cointreau is an absurd upgrade from other triple secs. The sweetness isn’t over the top and the flavor is complex and realistic with punchy orange zest. It’s delicious. Grand Marnier is the only liqueur I would consider using in cocktails in its place, but I prefer the zippier taste of Cointreau for most mixed drinks. Try it at your own risk, because you might never buy a cheap triple sec again.

This is an absolute necessity if you want to make a decent margarita! Spend a little extra money on this (it isn't cheap), buy some fresh limes, and you will notice how much tastier your margaritas are.

When you think of margaritas you normally think they’re fine with just tequila but when you pair it with Cointreau they make a banging Margarita. If you haven’t tried to add it to your margaritas then you should definitely consider it.

Expensive but not the most expensive! Likely a great buy Because you don’t need much to add flavor to anything; a little goes a long way. I expect this bottle will last for months. We mix it with our margaritas and in our sangria.

Oooh cointreau...its like the luxury version of triple sec. Nice and smooth sweet and tasty. Use it in your margaritas paired with your top shelf tequila and some homemade sweet and sour mix and you'll want every margarita to be made the same way every time afterwards.

I use this for baking more so than drink mixing. The orange flavor is strong without being overpowering. Great to add just that hint of sweetness to cakes and custards.
