I was selected to sample this product for free from influenster and codex beauty in exchange for my honest review. I got this free from an ooooo live a few year ago. It's used after cleansing and before I use moisturiser. It's not a brand that's very common but the oil has been beautiful on my skin, it smells of essential oils and has a natural yellow tinge to the oil. It makes my skin super dewy and healthy looking. It soaked into my skin and left my previously dry and light wrinkles skin hydrated.

I had never heard of this brand until someone started raving about it in an online wellness and beauty group. Naturally I looked it up and was blown away by the price tag but after careful research and being able to purchase it at a discounted price, I received it and tested it out immediately. The ingredients are the stars in this product. Most of them are organic. Ingredients such as chia seed oil, oat kernel oil, chamomile, clary sage and myrtle oil make this oil a true natural, plant-based, green product. I wasn’t too thrilled about the mandarin and limonene extract since they tend to flare me up but I was hopeful my skin would react positively. Although the the glass container is recyclable, I wasn’t too fond of it. It was bulky and heavy and it was also hard to get product out of it. I also wasn’t a fan of the scent. It was expected to not smell that great considering the ingredients, but it was pungent and too earthy. The biggest positives are the effects on my skin. After using and washing off, my skin felt incredibly soft and moisturized. My usual redness also subsided. It was truly a surprising and soothing experience. I cannot believe how gentle and soft my skin feels. I am very impressed. Despite some flaws, I really love this product. It’s doing wonders for my skin and I can’t wait to see the long-term effects.

I love this facial oil. It's a staple in my skincare routine. Shout out to Saks for sending me the sample that prompted this purchase. The packaging is great and there is nothing I would change about the product besides the price. Being someone that has had acne struggles I stayed away from oils due to the crippling fear of clogging my pores and breaking out but this product surprisingly did not have that effect. Its absorbs quickly and moisturizes without making your skin greasy. A little goes a long way so you have to remember to not get carried away when applying because it feels so good you may want to keep applying. I have seen massive improvement in my skin texture since I started using this 8 months ago and I only use it at nights as my final step. I am so thankful I found it.

This oil feels very good on the skin. It gives some effective glow and the skin feels and looks for nourished. It has a herbal scent (which probably comes from the natural ingredients). I like the glass ampoule with the doser very much. It is my favorite product from codex beauty.

I love this product. I always incorporate a face oil in my nighttime routine. This oil is unscented, light, and not greasy.

I actually enjoyed the product package and dispenser. The oil was on the thicker side . There wasn’t a big fragrance but you can smell one of the ingredients. I used it everyday and it made my skin feel hydrated with a shine. On very dry days, it was perfect to wear without makeup.

This is a moisturizing oil that gives the skin a lovely glow, but isn’t too greasy. It’s not my favorite facial oil though, and for the life of me I can’t figure out the logic of the applicator/bottle design. I couldn’t use it without making a small mess!

I LOVE THIS STUFF. i’m not sure why but for a while i was skeptical of facial oil but this changed my mind. you only need a couple drops and my skin feels soooo soft and moisturized and it lasts throughout the day! i’ve honestly used in place of moisturizer sometimes, but if you combine!! you won’t stop touching your face.

I never used a face oil until testing out this Codex Beauty face oil. It has helped my skin stay hydrated during the winter. I have acne prone skin and this did not cause breakouts.

It’s nice to keep your face moisturized but it honestly smells kinda bad. It’s this weird musky smell you have to get used to. Not my favorite due to smell but overall it’s a nice product it does keep my face from drying out.
