I really wanted to love this product but it didn’t work out for me at all. The company is ethical and the ingredients are clean. This wash is supposed to be gentle yet exfoliate and cleanse my skin. I don’t use exfoliants because they are usually harsh on my skin and this was another example. The consistency is thick and creamy but the beads felt rough and harsh on my skin. After washing the cleanser off, my skin was left a bit pink and irritated. It didn’t burn either but it was left feeling very, very dry. On the positive side, even though my skin was left dry, it was soft and smooth. Not sure how that is possible, but I’m just disappointed in another product that promises to be gentle with sensitive skin and just leaves my skin feeling desperate for hydration and moisture. I appreciate the company and its values, the nice packaging but this is a big NO for me.

Codex Bia Exfoliating Wash left my skin feeling fresh and tight. I use it in the shower and put on the Codex Superfood after I get out.
