Okay first, I love the concept of mixing your own face mask and applying it. It has detailed instructions (as detailed can be for a simple task) and application- recommended times . I will say the gritty texture of it kind of threw me for a loop for a minute but then I realized once applying it that the grittiness of it allowed for a sugar scrub type of process to take place when washing it off! The smell is a little earthy so prepare yourself for something that smells that way- not fragranced. When I do take it off my skin feels so smooth and fresh! I like a little dryness when looking at the results of washing my face because it’s so oily so this is something I really like. I’ve had it for about 4 months now- typically it should be gone with daily use but since it’s something like a spa day for me! I use it every other week or so when I feel like I need a deeep cleanse

I appreciate the effects of the product but can’t support the application process. Mixing it with water yourself is just inconvenient and messy. It is either too clumpy or too watery. The product does last a long time, which is a plus though.
