It really does work well with putting it down the toilet overnight when you move into an old uncleaned apartment. The only problem is not peeing all night while it works XD!

The carbonated water does help lift some stains, the acidity helps lift others. I have used it to clean coins before, the acidity ate away the gunk thay was on them. :) Look up on youtube vids of different things coke is used for. The acidity in it can clean a lot of stuff. Seltzer water does a good job on light colored items though. :)
