Over 70 years ago, in an illegal still tucked away in the Conecuh Ridge in Alabama, Clyde May created his first batch of craft whiskey. Clyde eventually paid the price for his passion—eight months in federal penitentiary. But that didn't stop him from setting up a new still the day he was released. It’s our unique blend. Clyde added oven-dried apples to his barrels. The resulting hints of green apple and cinnamon not only made it smoother than other whiskeys. This unique blend is what makes Clyde May’s Alabama Style Whiskey so special.
