When I travel, my naturally oily skin almost always becomes dry & irritated. One time while out of the country I had particularly awful patches of dry, flaky skin & had skipped the moisturizer when packing so I immediately ran out to find some. So glad I found this because it blew me away. It did take a few days for the dry patches to even out completely, but as long as I applied morning & night it kept my skin hydrated enough to keep the dryness at bay & prevent my makeup from flaking off. I continued using it once I got home & couldn't believe how well it worked on my oily skin, too!! While I don't *need* it for my every day routine, I do plan to keep a jar on hand for travel. I usually don't spend more than a few bucks on moisturizer but a little of this goes a longgg way so I'm not upset about the price.
I hate the feeling of this moisturizer. I use the regular moisture surge and I adore it. But not this stuff. It's hard to explain how this feels after you apply it. It's really not pleasant. It's extremely thick and it seems to never dry. It's constantly sticky and all around uncomfortable. It's probably the only Clinique products I've tried and not loved. I would not recommend this.
YASSS! This product has restored the life to my awful winter dry skin! My face was so dry from the winter and a new acne product I tried a few times. Like so dry it was flaking and peeling dry. This was the only moisturizer out of all the ones I applied that helped. It's so thick and creamy. Such a great formula and a great product for sure for me in the winter!

My favorite moisturizer on the planet. I have tried it all, I have had acne since i was 12 (I am now 22), have been on Accutane twice (about to go on it again for the third time) and this stuff is the only product that has effectively moisturized my skin without clogging my pores, leaving an unpleasant feeling or an unbearably strong odor. Your skin feels so soft and smooth after using this stuff. The only downside is the price, it is a little pricey, especially on a college budget but I am willing to put down the extra bucks for such an effective product. My skin drinks this stuff in. I have tried about every moisturizer on the market, high end and prescribed alike, and this is the best hands down. It is good for dry and oily skin alike and is a staple for those of you suffering from extra dryness from acne medication.
Clinique's Moisture Surge is the greatest product I've ever used on my skin. It absorbs quickly, hydrates well, and leaves my skin feeling bouncy and vibrant. There's no leftover residue (which I LOVE!!), no drying fragrance, and little bit goes a long way. While I'm the type of person who's okay with buying generic products, this is one of the only things that I continually go back for and buy brand name.
I love how this product makes my skin feel. I glob it on at night after washing and cleansing and it leaves my skin soft and hydrated. I have really dry skin, especially around my nose area and it has helped tremendously with the flakiness. I use a lighter moisturizer during the day but I have used this one and had no issues.
During the winter, my skin gets incredibly dry and tight. My skin flakes on my forehead in particular. The Clinique moisture surge intense gel creme packs a wallop for those of us with dry skin. It's thick (be careful and don't put too much on or your face will stay sticky for hours) and easy to spread. I generally put a small finger-dab on my face after my shower and then sleep in it. I wake up to wonderfully hydrated skin all winter long. It doesn't have a harsh smell (scents can really bother me). I'm almost finished with my second large jar, and this is definitely a staple in my skincare routine.
This is the absolute best moisturizer! I took this with me on a week long ski trip along with two other moisturizers and it was the only one that helped battle against the cold and wind. The packaging is amazing because you are able to get every ounce of product, and you never feel greasy or look oily after.
This product really does the job when it comes to super dry skin! Even with my super dry, flaky skin, this worked to hydrate it back to its plump and supple self! I love the formulation of this too, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin at all.
This is a really nice and light moisturizer, particularly if you are acne or breakout prone and want to avoid dry skin while not clogging up your pores. It’s good for daytime use and doesn’t make your skin oily or sticky at all.
