I have a bunch of Clinique lipsticks. They are what I went to get because my town did not have a Bobbi Brown counter, the nearest 1 was an hour and a half away & then people didn’t order online like you can now! After I discovered Bobbi I never looked back but I still wear Clinique lipstick & I love it when they do GWP like they did at Nordstrom recently. I got watermelon a great summer shade! It’s a pretty soft pink non obtrusive, lasts for a long time, isn’t matte (may be +/- for some), is cheap & most every mall has a Clinique counter that has a dept store. I use Clinique skin care swear by 3 step! The only way to collect Clinique is to simply buy it during the GWP’s you don’t even need to spend $30 to get the GWP so buy 2 things & u get a makeup bag full of goodies! I have rn Clinique skincare, concealers (pot & medicated), eyeshadow, blush, lip products (lipstick, liners, chubby’s), eyeliner, mascara & several GWP items I mean I don’t use up makeup v quickly so I’ve amassed a lot of it! This lipstick will always be a fave. You need a tube. You won’t be sorry buying it. Having a matching Clinique lipliner is helpful.
Review for: Creamy Nude more...
This is a great nude lipstick. It's very creamy, and though it doesn't dry down to a true matte, it still lasts almost all day. I use 2 coats to get a smooth and natural effect. It isn't food or beverage-proof, but otherwise it does last through a good part of the day. It's very easy to apply and reapply, and doesn't smell. I have light-to-medium olive-y skin that tans very easily, and this is literally my perfect nude shade and looks completely natural. I like the packaging, I think the silver color is very sleek and stands out against some other lipsticks. I wear it almost every day, without liner, and it never bleeds or cracks. Is it expensive for a cream lipstick? Yes. But is it worth the hype and the price? Also yes.
This was very expensive, more than I usually spend for lipstick. I loved the bright color though and it felt smooth when I applied it in the store. As soon as I got to the parking lot, it started to disappear from my lips. Half an hour later, it was gone even though nothing touched my lips. The next day, I exfoliated my lips, applied lip balm, blotted away the excess and applied this lipstick. Half a hour after, no eating or drinking or anything touching my lips, it was gone again. I returned it. I dont care how much I like a color, if it doesn't last, it's pointless b
I love Clinique lipsticks and this color is my favorite. I love purples but this cool toned purple/lavendar with little sparkles is just beautiful! This is an all year color, I can wear this in spring and summer for a soft and bright look and in the winter it works as a frosty look. As for the lipstick itself, one of the few bullet lipsticks that actually lasts me a while. 6 hours with food and drink and no lipliner. It goes on smoothly and makes my lips feel so nice and soft even if they are cracking! Love love this product!
I like this lipstick and the feel of it, but it seems to dry and crack after a little while. Does not seem to stay on as long as I would have liked but the color and the feel were nice! I will be using it again!
Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Bamboo Pink goes on smoothly and does not dry out your lips. It isn't exactly shiney but it isn't matte either. This lipstick is a bit pricey for my budget sometimes but I haven't paid for the ones I have because they were given to me as a gift from a family member. I love the formula of this lipstick because my lips feel soft...even after a long day of wearing it and the removing it. I would suggest this for anyone to buy but remember it can be pricey at times.
I wish it didn't smell so perfumey. It has a nice feel on the lips. The colors are not as exciting as I wish they were. They're very demure and refined. so if that's what you're looking for then this will be the perfect lipstick for you. I wore Clinique for a long time mostly because that's what my mother bought me. Now that I'm a grown up the only Clinic product that I still find myself reaching for is their toner. I swear that stuff gets out things from my soul that are dirty LOL.
